Today  marks an evolution in the revolution at Sale Sharks rugby club. Moving into a new Salford ground at the start of the coming season, today Bryan Redpath has been unveiled as the new Head Coach of Sale Rugby Club. The former Gloucester coach left Kingsholm in some what acrominious style at the end of last season, with rumours of a tapping up from Sales' Chief Executive Steve Diamond. Despite these allegations, Diamond today said of Redpath

"Bryan became available from Gloucester at the end of last season. As soon as he did, we were keen to talk to him. Bryan is very similar to me in many respects. His DNA was on the club for a long time, as was mine. There are two routes we need to take going forward. "

The former Sale and Scotland scrum half will take the reigns from next season of a developing club who among others have managed to secure the services of infamous Danny Cipriani who was returned from a one and a half season stint at Melbourne Rebels. Questions still remain of this mans commitment to the game, however, with the running rugby reputation Redpath built at Gloucester maybe the enviroment may suit the pacey and exciting talent from Croydon.
